How Our Journey Began

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself facing the challenge of closed stores and limited access to fresh ingredients. To save money and ensure my family had flavorful meals, I began dehydrating fresh seasonings. What started as a necessity quickly turned into a passion project. I meticulously dehydrated pimento flakes and Chadon Beni, preserving their vibrant flavors and extending their shelf life.

As the world began to recover from the pandemic, I ventured into creating souvenirs such as t-shirts, keychains, coasters, and many other items. My international client base grew rapidly, and as a gesture of goodwill, I included samples of my dehydrated seasonings with their orders. Much to my delight, these clients began offering to pay for the seasonings, appreciating the unique flavors they added to their dishes.

Encouraged by their enthusiasm, I designed labels and officially started selling my dehydrated seasonings. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and my business began to flourish. One day, a customer approached me with a special request. She wanted to make callaloo using dasheen bush but didn’t want the instant variety. She desired the ability to rehydrate and cook it herself, just like fresh callaloo. This request sparked a new idea, and I began offering callaloo packs.

To ensure the highest quality, I source the freshest produce from certified farmers. We follow stringent cleaning and preparation procedures to retain the natural flavor and color of the ingredients. Our business is family-owned and operated, and we take great pride in our journey from a humble kitchen operation to a fully certified factory.

What began as a solution to a pandemic problem has grown into a thriving business, bringing the authentic taste of the Caribbean to kitchens around the world. We are excited about the future and committed to providing our customers with the best quality products, made with love and dedication.

Locally, our products are also stocked at Boomerang Cafe in East Gates Mall and Long Circular Rd, St. James, making it simple for residents and visitors alike to find their favorite Trini keepsakes. Additionally, Christopher, our dedicated agent in Barataria, offers delivery services, bringing our unique items directly to your doorstep.

Our expansion doesn’t stop there. We have established a network of agents in Canada, the USA, and the UK, all of whom provide convenient delivery services right to your door. This international reach means that no matter where you are, you can enjoy the best Trini seasonings and souvenirs with ease.
